Thursday 28th October 2004 Pegwell Trap

Red-Headed Chestnut taken at at 125 MV light by (FS)

Monday 25th October 2004 Garden Elvington

I had a Hummingbird Hawk Moth today in the garden at 1630 regards (TRP)

Tuesday 19th October 2004 Garden Elvington night of the 18th

Strange night only had 8 moths and had 8 species Dark Chestnut, Dark Swordgrass, Silver Y, Yellow Line Quaker, Green Brindle Crescent, Beaded Chestnut, Brick, Blair's Shoulder Knot nice little collection (TRP)

Was taken at Light on the 15th October 2004 at Kingsgate Thanet by (FS)

Friday 15th October 2004 Hummingbird Hawk-moth 

There was a Hummingbird Hawk-moth along St.George's Road, Ramsgate at lunchtime  (Craig & Dylan)

Friday 15th October 2004 Garden Dumpton Thanet Night of the 14th

I ran my moth trap last night, 1st time for a little while. Very poor only 5 moths - 2 Apple moths, 2 Angle Shades & 1 L-album Wainscot (Gadget)

Thursday 14th October 2004 Garden Elvington night of the 13th

Not many moths due to the heavy rain best of the crop 1 Pearly Underwing, 3 Green Brindle Crescent, 1 Satellite and 6 other species (TRP)

Tuesday 5th October 2004 A few migrants at Kingsgate last night.

2 Dark Sword-grass, 2 Pearly Underwing, 1 Delicate , 1 Scarce Bordered Straw, 1 Dewick’s Plusia

Also a tatty Convolvulus Hawk Moth at Pegwell   (FS)  

Tuesday 5th October 2004 Newington Garden Night of the 4th

Mottled Umber came to the UV lights overnight - only my second garden record. (Phil M)
