I
tried a bit of netting for an hour or two on the Hoverpad near Pegwell.
Lots of micro moths on the wing plus the odd macro. Nothing you wouldn’t
expect amongst the moths, Most of the micro moths have Latin names only so
I have put their numbers next to them just in case anyone out there wants
to look them up?

Lynn Hurst had an interesting moth that she had taken
in her Shoulden garden. It was the melanic form of Pale Tussock and is the
first example of this coloration I have ever seen! A really smart moth.

Moth this year, another Herald this being my 3rd and a Nutmeg
also a new moth for the garden and what a beauty the Pale Prominent. (Gadget)

Very quiet through out April in my garden over on
Thanet, know doubt the best looking moth for April was the Mullein on
the 29th the night of the 30th yielded only 2 Angle Shades
