Still not a lot of moths about over in Thanet at the moment the Mullein being the best for the time being, (Gadget)

You were right last night, the moths started to arrive in better numbers.  I had Common Quaker 28, Small Quaker 4, Twin Spot Quaker 2, Hebrew Character 22, Early Grey 8, Early Thorn 2, Clouded Drab 3, Engrailed 1, Brindled Pug 1, Red Chestnut 1 and a Diurnea Fagella hope its the same tonight (TRP)

Thursday 15th April 2004 Thanet Garden night of the 14th

The moths have been very slow in my garden this year, and by the lake of reports coming to me would suggests in general last night has been one of the bests for some time, with seventeen moths in total. All common stuff but nice to see some moths in the trap this morning. (Gadget)

A Blossom Underwing amongst the dross at Kingsgate last night – first Thanet (and probably Kent) record since 2002, they are thought to be migrants in these parts. (FS)
