Tuesday 14th September Newington Ramsgate
A couple of semi interesting insects (more interesting than the moths
anyway) came to the moth trap lights overnight - a Speckled Bush Cricket
and my second ever Western Conifer Seed Bug. (Phil M)

Bay Area
The Elms at Sandwich Bay today was alive with Common
Darters and a few Ruddy Darters, also I noticed red berries from
the Lords & Ladies deep under some of the trees, other bits around
the wood were Orb Spiders and Shield Bugs, (Gadget)

This Western Conifer Seed Bug (Leptoglossus occidentalis)
came in the window tonight and I grabbed a few pictures. A first for me,
reading up on it shows it is an introduced species. (Simon Piggott)
