two Painted Lady butterflies sunning themselves on the path by the

Ham / Worth Marshes
With a damp & cold start to my walk
around the marshes, I wasn't convinced of a worthwhile trip, but after about
an hour the wind and weather changed, becoming a lot warmer and with the
change, I started to see the odd Green Vein White and Red Admiral
appearing. Also there were a few Common Darter and Migrant Hawker
still flying which was encouraging, for how much longer is anyone's guess.

Sunday 16th October 2011 Foreness
The highlight of the day was definitely a Weasel which crossed the
shorter grass at Foreness point where I was sitting and stopped to have a
good look at me!
