Ham / Worth Marshes
At last a chance to walk around the marshes, on this lovely sunny
morning, there were a few bumbles still on the wing which led me to think
there may be a few dragons hanging on. Sure enough it wasn't long before I
spotted a flyer, on the river, but it didn't stop, after seeing about 6 I
eventually found a Common Darter resting on a gate sunbathing. This
is my latest sighting of a dragonfly in the U.K. just how much longer they
are going to hang on is anybodies guess. If we get any frost that must be
the end, but you never know. (Roland Wells-Colyer)

Wednesday 16th November 2011 Dumpton Gap
There is a Porpoise of some description washed
up on the beach directly below King George VI Park at the Dumpton Gap end.
Thought this might be of interest to someone. I have images and can forward
them on if it's of interest? (Carl Radford)
