Saw a nice Brown Hare this morning bounding
across the field at Manston Court Road at 9.00am. And a single
Peacock Butterfly buzzing around the gardens at Quex. (John C)
Wednesday 24th March 2010 - Dumpton garden
Not too sure what a good idea it was to switch on the
moth trap this evening? However, on one excursion in to the garden,
after a bout of heavy rain, I found a Common Frog
bouncing about on the patio. (Dylan)
Monday 15th March 2010 Swanton Lane Woodslooking around the wood this morning 1 Peacock Butterfly and 2
White tailed Bees. (Gadget)
Saturday 13th March 2010 King's Wood, nr Challock
I found a group of six Fallow Deer in a field near King's Wood,
Challock, whilst I was checking out the area for other stuff. Badger,
Fox, Grey Squirrel, Rabbit and Brown Hare were also noted, mostly in the
headlights, as I drove around this excellent woodland site at a very silly
time of the day. (Dylan)
