Saturday 21st March 2009 Minster Thanet -
River Stour
Since last Tuesday I have been told of a large
Grey Seal in the River Stour between Minster and Plucks Gutter, I
have looked every day and have not seen a sign of it. At 1100am today a
friend returning from walking her dog called in to say where she had
just seen it so I rushed off. Success it was resting on the Ash side of
the River. Butterflies about today were quite a few Tortoiseshells
one Peacock and a Small White. (Don Wilks)
