Also on the tide-line the shells of Eating Crabs and French Swimmers (velvets). It was a nice walk along the beach in the evening sunshine and the sound of waves lapping the shore. (Craig)

Friday 6th January 2005 Ramsgate Cemetery

Grey Squirrels were all over the cemetery very good number most were busy collecting acorns, also on the eastside of the cemetery Winter Heliotrope is in abundance and some is in flower, its scent filling the air with its strong fragrance. (Gadget)

Tuesday 3rd January 2006 Ramsgate Thanet

A real Thanet rarity (the only one that I am currently aware of) is a rather fine specimen of Mistle-toe growing on a fruit tree in Ramsgate

A nice clump of Jew's Ear fungus and Velvet Shank growing on dead wood both in good condition despite the recent cold weather. (F Solly)

At 06-20hrs this morning I was surprised when I observed a Hedgehog in the road at Dumpton Thanet. (Gadget)
