Night of 30th March 2006 to 125MV light Trap Both
moth traps were full to the brim with moths overnight - one held a single Hebrew
Character and the other trap - a single Emmelina Monodactyla.
I apologize about the sarcasm. (Phil M)

Pegwell Traps
Night of 29th March
2006 to Light 125MV
Small numbers of the usual
suspects in the Moth traps - Common Quaker, Small Quaker, Hebrew
Character, Clouded Drab and Early Grey. Of slightly more
interest from a Thanet perspective were single Twin-spotted Quaker
and Grey Shoulder-knot. Of
more interest was the recent emergence of a couple of micros from leaf
mines collected in the autumn - Phyllonorycter kleemannella and
Phyllonorycter heegeriella - both very attractive -
particularly the latter. (F Solly)

Night of 24th March 2006 to 125MV light Traps at last
'some' moths! The first since mid February too, which must be some sort of
a bad record? The vast catch included: 1 Clouded Drab, 1 Common
Quaker, 1 Dark Chestnut, 1 Double-striped Pug, 1 Emmelina
Monodactyla plus a flighty micro which escaped identification
which I would say was one of the Agonopterix sp. From what I saw of it as
it whisked away on the stiff breeze? (Phil M)
