Monday 28th March 2005 Garden Newington Thanet

I had a few moths in the back garden on the 28th which included a Twin-spotted Quaker and what looks to me like a Lead-coloured Drab. Both are scarce moths on Thanet the Drab assuming it is one, being only the
3rd or 4th Thanet record. Francis had one last week in his Pegwell trap which was only the second ever record and I had yet another a few nights back i think? I will let old hairy run his expert eye over this specimen before I will claim it for certain. Also the same night: 5 Common Quaker, 1 Small Quaker, 1 Twin-spot Quaker, 1 Clouded Drab, 1 Lead-C Drab? and 3 Early Grey. (Phil M)
