Thursday 19th January 2006 Garden Dumpton Thanet

Night of the 18th 1 Winter Moth, 1 Light Brown Apple Moth,1 Mottled Umber all of them around the garden on the walls and flower pots (Gadget)

Thursday 19th January 2006 Golf Course last night

Did some 'torching' on the Golf Course last night - mostly burning bushes!  Early Moth, Winter Moth, Mottled Umber and Pale Brindled Beauty (F Solly)

At last a moth! There is a Winter Moth sitting on the back wall in the light this evening - the first macro of 2006.I also had a single Diamond Back in one of the traps last night - my first micro moth of the year. (Phil M)

The plume - Emmelina monodactyla was flying around in the house yesterday evening. (F Solly)

Tuesday 3rd January 2006 Stodmarsh / Sarre and Quex Park. 

Night of the 2nd January As dusk fell a few Winter Moths started flying around the bushier areas of the Lampen Wall. There were then lots of Winter Moths in the car headlights from Stodmarsh Car Park - Sarre and again around Quex Park.  (F Solly)
