10/2/2005. A steady drizzle,
occasionally
increasing to light rain and a gusty wind – only a
madman would go mothing. Anyway did
1 ¾ hours in East Blean before common sense
prevailed - the usual suspects;

c.20 Tortricodes alternella,
1 Acleris notana
. One very vocal Tawny Owl.
Better than watching TV
– as
the Pegwell weirdo would say!
Frogs were very vocal in my garden pond
