12th March 2005 - Kent Lepidoptera Metting

You are invited to join the Kent Lepidoptera meeting on 12th March at the Russell Hotel, Maidstone. If you are interested in Butterflies & Moths then come along to the meeting. Starting at around 18:00. More details will be issued nearer the date.

Sun 1st May Event at Blean Woods in 2005

Dawn Walk 4.30am at Blean Woods National Nature Reserve car park, Rough Common,

near Canterbury, Kent (grid reference  TR 122594).

A two-hour guided walk through the wood to listen to the dawn chorus

and, in particular, some of the reserve's thirty nightingales. 

Enjoy hot sausages and a coffee afterwards. 

£3 adults / £2.50 children.  Advance booking advisable.

Fri 6th May Events at Blean Woods in 2005

Kids’ Evening Walk  7pm at Blean Woods National Nature Reserve

car park, Rough Common, near Canterbury, Kent (grid reference  TR 122594).

Specially for children, a two-hour guided walk through the

wood to see bats, moths, roding woodcock and to listen to

nightingales.  CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN

ADULT.  £2 adults/£1 children.  Advance booking not essential.
